My first risotto attempt : The first night I made this, it was a little rich for my blood. I definitely will halve the recipe next time I make it. 5 tbsp of butter and 2 cups of cheese is a little much for my taste. However, the next day it tasted SO much better. The flavors seemed to blend together better and idk it was just great : Will definitely make again. Used leftover roasted marinated chicken & no wine on hand, & was just as good.

I just tried this. My first time for risotto. This was delicious. I didn't have the wine it called for so I just used chicken stock. This was soooo good. I will fix this again and again.

Easy and oh-so-decadent! A fantastic risotto recipe - followed the recipe exactly, except we used grilled chicken breast instead of rotisserie chicken.! Don't be afraid to make this (or any risotto - it's not hard to make!!! You won't be sorry you tried this!

Don't try to multitask this meal. Pay attention to the risotto.

I've always wanted to attempt risotto, and this was my first. YUM!!! And that's an understatement. Tasting it even before adding the cheeses was incredibly good, then tasting after the parmesan was out of this world, and after the fontina was added I nearly went weak in the knees! Awesome dish. Omitted the chicken, as I made the Oven-fried Chicken submitted by the FN Kitchens. A truly delicious meal. Will definitely make this one again! My fiance was in heaven. Thanks for a great recipe!

This was SO good. I've made a few different risotto recipes and this was my favorite. Emeril's recipes is another 5 star risotto, but it calls for heavy cream. I liked this one best, because it doesn't call for any cream, but tastes equally as creamy. While my 2 year old daughter was eating it, she kept saying 'yum!' My husband said it was his favorite comfort food. I will make this again!!! Soon!!!

My first Risotto and it was absolutely fantastic. I used some Chradonay for wine and everything else just like the recipie calls for. I will make it again and maybe will add some vegies!

I love risotto and am always looking for new recipes. This one uses thyme and fontina cheese (two ingredients I had left over from another recipe. I added steamed broccoli. I also served with a mustard/fennel seed crusted pork tenderloin. Will be repeating this again. Easy!
