I have been making this dish for a couple of years now for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
My family just loves it and always looks forward to it.

I've made this for a few years now .. every time I make it someone asks me where I got the recipe. My husband hates Sweet Potatoes. These are the ONLY ones he will eat and come back for seconds and thirds. Now he wants me to make Tyler's recipe for Pumpkin Meringue Pie we watched him make on Thanksgivings Top 10 questions answered. Can't wait to make them both this year. Yum!

I can even remember how I use to make my sweet potatoes as this has become the most request sweet potato recipe ever! My family loves it! All my friends want the recipe. Sometimes, I've put a little oj in the potato mixture and I've put a little coconut in the topping too. But the basic recipe is FABULOUS!
Tip, if you don't have a food processor, you can use a stick blender too.

Ever since I saw this 3 or 4 years ago on Food Network, I've been making it for Thanksgiving dinner. I follow this recipe to a "T" for relatives/friends who can have sugar, and sub sugar free maple syrup, splenda brown sugar for those watching thier carbs, or who are diabetic.

Both are a huge hit! Thanks Tyler!

the sweet potatoe with bananas tastes delicious, i just think that it should have less cinnamon, i think half the amount is sufficient.

This was a big hit with the adults and the kids. I did add a shot of bourbon to the pecans when they were cooking. I also had to put marshmellows on the top to make the kids happy. The flavor of the roasted banana with the sweet potatoes was awesome. It will become a holiday regular with the family.

It was easy but i adjusted the recipe a little, I added minerature marshmellows to the top and then browned it in the oven. The family loved it.

This has been a favorite since I started making it two years ago. It's easy, reheats well, and is delicious. I think the recipe is fairly healthy as well. I don't use all the butter that is required and it works out quite well.
