I made a half recipe as a tester before Thanksgiving. I omitted the nuts for my toddler too. It is so delicious and creamy. There's a hint of banana flavor but it's not overbearing or too sweet as I had imagined. My daughter kept saying "more! more!" so it definitely has a 5-star rating from her!

My family prefers their sweet potatoes this way over the traditional. My husband has always done the sweet potatoes for family get togethers until I decided to try this one. Now this is the preferred choice. Even my mother-in-law who hates bananas loves this recipe. I highly recommend anyone trying it at least once.
