This recipe was easy, quick and delish. The herbed butter really just made the corn 'pop' in flavor. Considering that corn on the BBQ is not known here in Holland and veggies on the BBW are looked at in suspect, you can consider this a success. My dutch husband and stepdaughter devoured the corn with glee! Not a cob left on the plate. That rather said it all! Great recipe.

I'm not big on corn, but this butter dressing kicked it up just enough. It sparked my interest yet wasn't overpowering to take away from the sweet corn's natural taste. Top notch!

I took the best of two recipes - peel the husks back and soak in cold water for 20 minutes & then apply the garlic butter recipe and return husks back over the corn. Place on grill turning 1/4 turn once every 5 min on the covered grill (I would guess medium heat. Then I removed the husks, and returned the ears to the grill to get a browning on the kernels, basting the corn in the garlic butter as they browned.
Holy smoked grilled corn - fantastic stuff. An extra step or two but what a result!!
