I used diet tonic (its what I had on hand and they were great. We took a pitcher to the lake on a hot day and they were very refreshing. I would even have them without the rum!! Vodka maybe...

I knew there could be a great Mojito out there but I've never been able to find one at a bar or restaurant. They usually add sprite or something else that makes it too sweet. Some even use mixers instead of real mint. This drink is perfect, especially for summer. Not too sweet. You can't really taste the alcohol - be careful.

I would probably double the amount of white rum in this recipe. All of my guests thought the drink was rather weak. Great flavors though- just needed a little more oomph.

This drink is great! I made it for a bar-b-que party, & everyone enjoyed it. Light, refreshing, & delivers a slight "kick".
