This is so easy to make. I used gluten free all purpose flour so I could enjoy it. Family says this recipe indefinitely a keeper. Thanks!!

Quite impressed with the soup; easy and very delicious. The only downside is that it's fat free.

This soup was out of this world, so much flvr.. I did make some slight changes by adding a cup of chicken stock and I used shallots instead of onions.. I served it to my family and friends and they loved it.. This is a keeper..

Loved the soup. Was very easy to make and my husband and Mother both had two bowls. This was nothing different for my husband to have second's but for my Mother it was amazing. She never eat's a full meal It was a pleasure to see her enjoy soup so much. Thanks

Oh so easy potato soup! We loved it and my husband was already asking about second helpings before he had even finished his first bowl. I prepared the recipe as is, with no alterations and it was super rich and creamy. I did not make the salad but plan to next time. I've also had a request from my husband to double the recipe next time so we have plenty of leftovers. I may try a mixture of heavy cream and chicken broth the next time but I hesitate to mess around with perfection.

I'm not a soup fan, but I absolutely love this soup! I didn't exactly follow the recipe since I cannot get myself to eat a bowl of cream. Instead, I used a half & half mixture of chicken stock and whole milk and a little extra flour. The bacon and cheese are extravagent enough for this lady! I don't think this cut into the flavor at all, since the soup was a huge hit even with a picky toddler to please.

This is the most incredible recipe! I also use half milk and half cream, and instead of dredging the cheese in flour, I dredge it in instant potato flakes. SO YUMMY!

O.K. So, like a few others who made this soup I used cream and milk combo (1 cup cream and 3 cups whole milk. My whole family loved this soup, including my husband who is not a soup eater. A+++ soup...definitely a keeper.
