I added about 10 shakes of Liquid Smoke to the milk before marinating the meat and it was delicious. I also only added a little more than a cup of milk, omitting the stock and heated it with the garlic to infuse the flavor.

My family loved this meal. It was a touch time consuming so i did not bother with the onions and served simple fresh French Green Beans with it.

    A definite make again.

I haven't made the blue cheese mashed potatoes yet, but, I have to admit that cooking 2 lbs. of potatoes using 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of chicken stock after draining is a bit much don't you think?
Don't you think it would be a bit runny?

The porkchops maintained a moisture, and flavor, throughout cooking that I have never before been able to create.

Just remember with the potatoes, you want to make sure you get the right type of potatoes, and they are measured 2lbs. after boiling.

I ONLY MADE THE PORK CHOPS AND I ALWAYS HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING MY CHOPS TO COME OUT TENDER BUT THEY WERE SOOOO TENDER WHICH I PRESUME IS A RESULT OF THE MILK. I USED 3 SPRIGS OF ROSEMARY.

I USED A CAST IRON GRILL PAN AND ROTATED THE CHOPS FOR A BEAUTIFUL CRISS-CROSS APPEARANCE.

THEN I SMOKED THEM ON THE STOVE TOP BUT I HAVE A 'CAMERON SMOKER' SO IT WAS REALLY EASY. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE, GET ONE. THEY'RE ONLY ABOUT $40 AND WONDERFUL IN THE WINTER. BBQ CHICKEN, SMOKED SHRIMP, ETC.
