This is a nice green chili receipe - except it can be difficult to find green chili powder (you may have to order it online. I did add some nice, roasted, hot, hatch green chili's and bit of water (to cut the tartness. It was very nice.

This does take a lot of time, however, it is well worth it. It's super delicious!

Some of the best chili verde I've ever eaten. Lots of ingredients and takes time but not difficult. It stays in my collection.

I couldn't find the green chile powder and used white instead. I used a third of the amount called for and it was almost too spicy to eat. Whichever kind of chile powder you use, use only a tad first and add later. It had an incredible taste despite the heat!!

We tried this for Cinco de Mayo. I wanted a good recipe with some cut corners and this was perfect. And the guests raved. I've made it several times since as my husband prefers "mine" to the local restaurant's.

This recipe made enough for about 8 people, especially since I also added potatoes (2 medium per person. This was a perfect recipe for the crock pot, and would have been equally good with chicken or turkey. I substituted more tomatillos, instead of the green bell peppers, and also increased the lime juice to juice from one whole. It was fabulous!

Delicious! Incredible taste. My husband couldn't get enough. I omitted the tomatillos as I couldn't easily find them and increased the green enchilada sauce. We ate it in flour tortillas. What a special treat. I'm saving this recipe.
