Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup pancake mix (recommended: Chris Cakes)

Directions

In a small bowl, mix the egg, milk, and oil. Stir in pancake mix only until lumps dissolve.

Preheat a griddle to about 350 degrees F.

Ladle batter onto hot griddle and cook. Flip pancakes when edges are cooked and bubbles on top begin to break. Serve immediately.

Cook's note: Add more liquid to batter if it becomes too thick.

Is this a joke? I've seen better recipes for pancakes on the side of a Shake-n-Pour batter mix. Wow...
