Very interesting the way the recipe is divided - Makes for a better consistency which is what I look for in a flan - rich and delicious.

Very good. Be sure to use the blender, or the cream cheese gets lumpy in mix and floats to top. I am going to try doing this the right way the next time I do it. It was great after I scraped off the cream cheese lumps that floated to the top:

This was a great recipe--easy to make, great to look at, and absolutely delicious. The most difficult part was trying to spread the melted, browned sugar around the pan before it hardened. Even though it didn't spread up the sides, it was fine in the end, and the flan easily came out of the pan. I had not made flan before, so I was unsure how this would turn out. I am very pleased, and will make it again.

I grew up in Miami and have spent 25 years wishing that I could make a REAL flan de queso and well, FINALLY!! I moved to Germany and, missing my Latin flavored of South Florida I made Arroz con Pollo and DARED to make Flan for desert! This recipe was WONDERFUL! It was easy, if you set out all of the ingredients premeasured, and PERFECT!!!

Loved the recipe. Didn't have a flan pan, so I used a deep 10" sautee pan. It came out perfect and everyone loved it. It was so good, I had to take it to work to keep from eating it all myself.
