I have never made a homemade pie before so I was a little worried, but it turned out amazing! The crust was perfect. My husband's grandma used to make strawberry-rhubarb pie, so I wanted to try it. He loved it too. Directions were very east to follow!

This is the best strawberry rhubarb pie I have tasted. My family loved it. I did, however, use a crumb topping of flour, oatmeal, butter, brown sugar and sliced almonds as we are not as fond of a double crust pie.

I had never prepared a Strawberry Rhubarb Pie or used rhubarb in any recipe. Inspired by my husband's memories of such pies, I tried this recipe so I could know what he was talking about! The pie turned out perfect. The whole family loved it. It's a new favorite!

excellent -only used strawberries and added an extra tbs. of tapioca per someone's suggestion. Turned out perfect nd not soupy at all. This is going in the book.

This was my first attempt at Strawberry Rhubarb pie. The filling was a tiny bit soupy, and I did follow the recipe exactly, but it was still one of the best tasting fillings I have made. My crust got a little soggy but that's just me. I think I overloaded the pie pan. If I could get the crust right, it would be like eating my grandma's pie. Very easy & fast to assemble once the crust is ready. Loved the taste, tart & sweet buttery goodness.

Best strawberry-rhubarb pie I have ever had. Not soupy at all, I added a little extra tapioca and made to give it plenty of time to set. There is no need to try any other strawberry-rhubarb pie this one is definitely the go to recipe.

I'm a man... a real one, and I made this pie for my wife's birthday the other day, it's her favorite. I'm by no means a great cook, just good enough to occasionally impress, and this receipt honestly intimidated me when I was shopping the ingredients. It took me the better part of three hours, but it came out perfect! My wife was shocked as was I that I could make a pie from scratch that was this good. I give credit to Valarie Enters who wrote it, very simple, easy directions with excellent, delicious results. Thank you Valarie!

Yum! I made this pie pretty much according to the recipe except I used cornstarch instead of tapioca. It was delicious!! I think it's even more tasty after spending a night in the fridge and having it the next day. It definitely screams for a big dollop of vanilla ice cream, which I did not have. This was the first strawberry-rhubarb pie I have made and I will definitely add it into my late spring cooking repertoire. Thanks!

This is a yummy pie--a friend called it the best g..d...strawberry-rhubarb pie he'd ever eaten! I use my own crust recipe and usually forget to dot with butter but it's awesome anyway.
