I think the few folks who didn't like these either didn't know what "indochine" flavors would be like, or did something wrong, because my family begs me to make these on the regular. The dressing is key, and don't skip the fish sauce. I also add pickled ginger carrots on top. YUM!

It might have been alright if the patty wasn't so salty and the dressing so sour! Maybe cut the amount of lime and fish sauce?! So disappointed that I won't try again.

Absolutely amazing. Neither me nor my friend, with whom I cooked these, would change a thing. We added Sriracha to our buns after cooking, but I'd not change the recipe. We just like the extra fire. These were the greatest non-standard burgers I've had in my lifetime. This is a perfectly crafted recipe, and one of the few that I'll repeat "as-is." Moist, sweet, sour, porky, and loaded with Asian flavors.

I've been waiting to make this recipe and I'm glad I finally did. Super easy to make and it was a real crowd pleaser. The burger alone tastes great but the dressing is vital! I had so many people asking me for the recipe for that alone. I will say that amount of Sriracha listed is not even noticeable (at least to me. I think I'm going to double or triple the amount next time, and there'll definitely be a next time! (p.s. I don't understand how anyone couldn't like this in reference to previous negative reviews on here

This is one of our favorite burger recipes. We've made time & time again to rave reviews from friends and family. Also good made with ground turkey and fresh tuna (finely dice to make the burgers. It is one of the few recipes where we don't change a thing. Enjoy!

I only make burgers with recipes from Build a Better Burger contests; any recipe that can make it to the $50,000 contest is good enough for me. I don't think I've ever had a pork burger but this is SUPERB. The taste is so flavorful, even though not many ingredients go into the pork. The sauce and the pork is so addicting together, and on a good brioche roll, is perfection. This is a must in everyone's repertoire!

I had ground pork in my refrigerator and went searching for a recipe to use it up. After finding this one and reading the reviews, I was intrigued enough to give the recipe a try. All reviewers who commented that the meat mixture didn't have the most appealing aroma were right. If I had made this without reading the reviews first, I'd have smelled the concoction and been tempted to throw it out. Glad I was forewarned, because something magical happens when these burgers hit the grill. The resulting taste is complex but so delicious that my husband and I believe we like these burgers as much or better than standard beef burgers. Go for it! You'll be so glad you did.

I'm sick of grilling beef this summer, so I tried these and was completely rewarded. The sauce matches perfectly--reminded me of a tzatziki sauce in a vague way. All of the ingredients contributed, but none of them overwhelmed the pork. Making these again.

These are packed with yummy goodness - probably the best burger I've ever eaten! I followed the patty recipe exactly and was really happy with the result! They were a bit greasy but I just dabbed the grease off with a paper towel (they are burgers after all. I used dried spices for the sauce and it was still tasty, but next time I'll definitely remember to get the fresh herbs - I think it will be well worth it. I felt like it was missing a little "something". Like some crunch maybe. I chopped up some cukes and grated carrots which I enjoyed. Next time I might throw in a coleslaw mix (cabbage, carrots to the sause. I am so making these again, and again. YUM YUM!!
