This is the first time I've rated a recipe. I am shocked that this recipe only has 3 stars because someone couldn't figure out how to adjust when they couldn't find an ingredient! This dessert was fabulous! I am a caterer and have received nothing but RAVE reviews anytime I've made it. I used Almond Paste and a dense white bread because I also could not find Honey white bread. Hawaiian bread is a great idea!

Very Good. Got rave reviews from everyone I served it to. I used Hawiian Sweet bread. This is the first time I have every used almond filling, I found it in the aisle with the pie fillings. This bread pudding was easy to prepare. And the leftovers were very good also.

btw, I think it is pretty unreasonable to give a recipe bad rating just because you were unable to figure out how to get the ingredients and prepare it. How can you rate a recipe you didn't even taste?

You can find almond filling in the grocery baking aisle near pie fillings (comes in a can. It's like almond paste only not as dense. It's usually used for pies and cookies.

Abfab, serve warm. I make 1.5X the sauce so it is extra decadent and no worries about running out.

Great, easy recipe with a wonderful sauce. My only comment is that next time I would use almond paste instead of almond filling but that's just my personal preference. It was still fantastic using the filling.
