I made two batches of these brownies today for my friend's luau. I omitted the nuts since some children there are allergic to nuts. I made one batch with pineapple and coconut. The second batch I made with coconut only. They got rave reviews and were a big hit! Everyone said that they were so delicious and I received many compliments. Thanks so much for this terrific recipe. I will definitely bake these brownies again!

I made a double batch of these brownies for a luau birthday party. THey are super rich and very very good. I dont want to even begin to think about all of the calories in them but for a special occassion these brownies are delicious. I'm not a fan of coconut but dont mind them in these.

Made these for our weekend luau at our house. Guests and my husband raved about it. I took advice from another review and used crushed pineapple instead of tidbits. Make sure you strain the juice off well. The filling in the middle is scrumptious and the brownies are pretty moist. They're pretty rich. I think I would leave out the pineapple the next time since I'm not a big fan of mixing fruit and chocolate.

Made these for a "Lei-bor" Day Luau and they were the hit of the party!! I was introduced to everyone by host as the brownie lady! I did change the recipe a bit-instead of the cream cheese mixture, I just added white chocolate chips in the middle along with the coconut (which I toasted. I also topped the brownies with white chocolate chips & coconut! These are awesome!!

These are ridiculously good, yet refreshing for the summer because of the pineapple. They were a crowd pleaser.

Very yummy. It has a mixture of some interesting ingredients but it tastes fantastic. It has a cheesecake sort of taste.

Good recipe with a very rich end result - the brownies are delicious, but also fall apart easily and are hard to serve. All of the flavors really compliment one another.
