Normally I am picky about chicken, especially cooking it because it usually isn't flavorful and it tastes too...chicken-y. But this dish came out really well. The braising liquid really seeps into the meat and gives it tons of flavor. We've made it twice already.

This was really good and simple to make. The sauce was even better the next day. Enjoy!!!

This was fantastic! The title of the recipe is so misleading, I was expecting the chicken to have a barbeque sauce type taste. What a great surprise! I have passed this recipe on to many people, they're crazy for it.

I can't believe that my review is so different from everyone else's but I even added some pineapple to try to get rid of the bitterness. The soy sauce knocked out the pineapple/orange/ginger flavor which was what I was wanting.

The chicken was delicious! The chicken was so cooked it came off the bones easily. Serve over white rice with broccoli spears and it's the perfect dinner!

We just got back from Disney's Polynesian hotel and had wonderful food and this was so reminiscent of the flavors. My husband complimented the meal many times over. It will be a family favorite & I would definately consider entertaining with it.

Everyone in my family went crazy over this recipes. I had already doubled it for my family of five and seconds were in request. I used boneless chicken thighs. This recipe will also be my new potluck bringing.

This recipe was fantastic. Braising made the chicken extremely tender. The sauce was so good, I licked my plate clean! I had one minor problem-when I added the cornstarch mixture, I didn't stir quickly enough so some of it cooked on the bottom of the pan in lumps. My sauce still thickened but I would suggest whisking the cornstarch mixture in and, maybe, taking the pan off the heat for a minute.

This recipe may be the best one I've gotten off of this web site, and I've made quite a few. The flavors in the sauce/marinade are delicious, it's a little sweet, a little spicy, a little perfect. I will definately keep this recipe for further (frequent use in the future.
