The custard is so creamy and is the best I have ever tasted. I have added red rasberries on special occasions.

If you're in a hurry, make custard and pour into frozen pie crust purchased at the store.

This is a really great custard pie. My family loves it. The only thing is that in the directions the baking time is incorrect. On the recipe summary at the top of the recipe cook time says 1 hour and 5 minutes, but in the actual directions it says 35 min. It does take and hour to bake this. It is really delicious!

This custard lives up to it's name. It is so velvety...Everyone loved it. I make at least twice a month

I am a big custard fan....BUT I am not that great at making pie crust, so I used a quality pre-made crust and baked the custard in that. Yhis is a pie that brings me back to my childhood. Soooooo good!

This is the best custard I have ever tasted. The custard recipe also makes a wonderful creme caramel(just brown sugar and put in ramekins then bake in a hot water bath @350 for about 40 minutes. It also tastes good in individual pastry shells. And I found that using already made pie shells tasted really good as well. Everyone that tried this, even those who don't like custards, liked it .
