I know these were made with pre-made dough, which made me initially second-guess the recipe, but these are great if you're a peanut-butteer lover. I took these to work & everyone gobbled them up.

Cookies were good, but weren't to die for; which I expected for the prize they got. We even made them using Nutela for the filling, and that was a nice variation. Again, I expected them to be "Super Delicious," but was a bit let down w/the final outcome and the cookies being so average.

Maybe they (the judges, felt sorry for her since her son still lived in her basement. LOL; I know they didn't know who baked the cookies prior to offering the prize, so spare me the comments. :-

I absolutely agree with Lindsy from Denver that the only reason this recipe won was because you had to buy a lot of "Pillbsbury" products to make the cookies. That recipe did not compare to the others or to the other four contestants that won in the other categories. The other runnerups got ripped off!!!

I made a few changes-I used crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy and added the cinnimon to the filling instead of on the outside. The crunchy peanut butter added good texture inside but the cookies were not at all what I was expecting. I know I changed the recipe, but I can't see how following it to a "T" would have made these cookies any better. Definately not the best peanut butter cookies I've ever had, a lot of effort for less than impressive results... not quite sure how this one won the money

This is the first time I have reviewed a recipe but wanted you to know that I made 6 dozen of these cookies (quite expensive to take to a cookie party and contest. I followed the recipe exactly. This cookie did not even get an honorable mention compared to the other regular plain chocolate cookies, chocolate chip cookies, or the winner which was a sugar cookie with a snickers bar inside it with drizzled chocolate on top. When I explained to everyone there that these cookies won the contestant a million dollars, they couldn't believe it. I can't either because I watched the Pillsbury contest on TV and I agree that other recipes looked much more like winners but I had to try this one since it won. I feel these won because you need to purchase lots of Pillsbury products in order to make them.

I actually think these were very easy to make, considering you are using store bought cookie dough. Usually we are not Peanut butter cookie lovers, but everyone loved these.

This peanut butter was good as peanut
butter cookies go, but I found it to
be too much effort for the finished
product. I especially did not shaping the creamy peanut butter into balls.
I like "playing with my food" but this
was sticky and messy. I believe extra
crunchy peanut butter would have been
easier to handle and would have tasted
    better, too.

My vote would have gone to the Salmon
    pastries.
