Melt 4 tablespoons butter and one 10-ounce bag marshmallows in a pot over medium heat, stirring, then remove from the heat and stir in 6 cups party mix (such as Chex Mix). Press into a buttered 9-by-13-inch baking dish and let set. Sprinkle with coarse salt before slicing.
