Chop 1 pound bittersweet chocolate; melt all but 1 cup in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir in the remaining chocolate until smooth. Pour the melted chocolate onto a foil-lined baking sheet and spread about 1/4 inch thick; top with crushed chips, popcorn, party mix or other snacks. Refrigerate until set, then break into pieces.
