After making stock with the leftover turkey from Thanksgiving, I found this recipe. I deviated from the recipe by using finely chopped turkey meat, stock instead of beer and adding twice as much chili powder (I used half a chili blend and half ancho powder. I also hit it with a little masa harina to thicken it up at the end. This is the best recipe to work off of I've EVER found!

I really liked this recipe, it was easy and tasty. The next time I would cut the salt in half. It was way too salty.

This recipe is so easy & is delicious. My husband & I make this about once a week with these changes:
instead of beer, we use chicken stock & in addition to the whole chile, add 1/2 bottle of Chipotle Tabasco.

My friends and family really enjoyed this recipe. It had a really good balance of flavor and spice! I found it a bit salty and will reduce the amount of salt it called for by half next time I make it. (You can always add more, but it's hard to take out!

This was very good chili -- my husband didn't even notice it was heart healthy turkey -- but it took me longer than 30 minutes.
I doubled the recipe and used muir glen fire roasted tomatoes (adds a hint of smokines, used a can of black beans and kidney beans, added onions, a red and green pepper, and corn. It was chock full of healthy ingredients.

The first time I made this chili I almost polished off the whole pot myself! My boyfriend & I loved it. It's super easy to make and very comforting on a cold day. I added a diced roasted red bell pepper and the flavor was great. I have used many different types of beer and have found that Corona gives the best flavor. I swirl a small dollop of sour cream into mine and serve with a crusty french or sourdough bread. Delicious!!!

This chili had a very strange flavor to it. My husband said that it almost tasted like bbq. I don't know if it was the chipotle peppers that I used and I even used 3 of them instead of just the one because I like my food spicy, but the completed dish had no flavor at all!!!! Not sure if I would make this dish again. But I still love ya Rachael!@

This is a great chili and easy to make! This is the first time I had cooked with ground turkey and I was afraid that it would taste bland. However, with all the great spices you don't loose any of the flavor and you get a healthier meal.
