Even my 8 and 11 year old loved it! Left out jalepenos and added one can of pinto beans. Served with a dollop of sour cream and oyster crackers. My mother in law made it also. She made it like I did and also added an extra can of kidney beans, served it with grated cheddar and tortilla strips.
I will try it with chicken next time!

This recipe was not only quick to make, but so flavorful. The beer and chipotles add alot of dimension to this dish. I doubled the recipe and froze the other half. I used pinto beans, kidney beans, and black beans with great results. This dish is very flexible if you want to add more tomatoes or beans.

This chili is absolutely delicious! I added 1 chopped green pepper to the onion and garlic for a little color and flavor though. This is a must-try recipe!

It usually takes half the day to make my family recipe for chili. I tried this recipe and was delighted at how easy AND tasty it was. I now can eat chili even if I only have a short time to prepare it.

I thought it turned out well, spicy taste. I actually addded two chipotle peppers instead of one, and a whole 28 oz can of plum tomatoes. yummy!
