    As written, I would give this recipe 3.5 stars; however, if you add juice of one lemon - 5 stars without a doubt. Make sure you LOVE garlic before you make this recipe...and I mean REALLY love garlic. I am sure this would be fine with a bit less garlic, but be sure to add lemon juice. It just gives the zing the aioli needed. Other than that small change, this was a great recipe and I must admit I was pretty darned proud of myself for making my own mayo! Good starter recipe that can be built upon quite easily with a lot of different herbs and spices.
