You can create up to five timers

Directions

Thinly slice a baguette; arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet. Brush with softened butter and sprinkle with salt and sugar. Bake at 425 degrees F until lightly golden, about 7 minutes. Let cool slightly.

Spread softened almond paste on the toast rounds. Press toasted pine nuts into the paste, then brush with melted butter; dust with confectioners' sugar.

    I made this bruschetta with several others
    ALL of the bruschetta was just as fabulous as the other
    I have made them on several occasions – for brunch – small gathering – dessert
    They are a huge hit everyone wants to know how I came up with this recipe, my answer is standard “FOOD NETWORK”
    The combination of almond paste & pine nuts was GREAT if it wasnt for Food Network I would have never dreament of this - So thank you
