even after reading the reviews about the water, I was not satisfied with the way these turned out. I bake a lot and these just did not have the texture we like.

These were very good. Only mildly annoyed with the water not being in the ingredient list. I made a few changes and they still turned out great. Make the dough in my bread machine on the dough cycle and I used 1/2 whole wheat pastry flour and half all purpose flour.

The water is left out of the ingredient list on top..so the instructions are not well written. they came out dry/I added 2 TB veggie oil to improve it. Liked the actual flavor.

Was craving bread sticks so got excited reading all the rave reviews but was somewhat disappointed. They didn't turn out as tasty- just okay. Found the bread sticks texture kind of dry and without a lot of flavor. I drenched them with melted salted garlic butter afterwards because of the lack of flavor and dryness. The instructions were also very confusing. ALL ingredients, even as logical as "water" should be stated under "ingredients" and not placed in the instructions somewhere. I am one who likes to prep my ingredients as I read them. Thank goodness I read the reviews.

I think the water should be listed in the recipe ingredients... but the breadsticks turned out well...

You serious? You really want to make me believe serious chefs buy yeast by the envelope? The recipe would be much more helpful if it said how many tea spoons/grams or ounces of yeast I need.
