good recipe lol but not the original, Guess you could say I am a Chick-fil- A snob since I worked at the original Dawrf House. There is no pickle juice and vinegar at all used. I worked with the original cooks. And the chicken breast are not slice. And no sugar was added.

This restaurant sandwich is one of my favorites, so when I saw the recipe in the magazine, I was very excited! My husband agreed to make it for us one night for dinner, and we were NOT disappointed! It tastes as good, if not better than the original!! I always marveled at how moist the original sandwich is, and now we know the secrets! Now my favorite week night dinner!!

Actually the grilled chicken is marinated in dill pickle juice not the fried chicken.. I worked for them.

I only made the chicken, didn't use the pickle. Never had a Chick-fil-a sandwich but this was good. It's a keeper and will make it again.

first time deep frying anything and this was fantastic. pretty easy but be sure you have the right gear, number one a proper thermometer and a cast iron skillet. I will say I spent a two much on ingredients but that is my fault because I buy everything at Whole Foods, but totally excellent. must try it. Oh help full hint, have your chicken pounded to the proper thickness by the store butcher. when you open the chicken you will have small pieces. cook those and you will have home made chicken strips that everyone will love. bottom line, great tasting but not so good for the bottom= so proceed with moderation.

Being one of the self proclaimed biggest Chick-Fil-A fans there is I was so excited after reading the reviews to make this for dinner tonight. I followed the other reviews and marinated my chicken in pickle juice and double coated the chicken too. One thing that I did different is I used buttermilk instead of the eggs and milk to dredge. I prefer buttermilk in most of my batter recipes and found that the chicken was nearly identical to CFA. So excited to make this again and again!

This really tastes like Chick-fil-a! Follow the reviews- I let the chicken marinate in the pickle juice and I coated the chicken twice. Thanks food network!

This recipe is very, very tasty. I have to make a double batch every time for my guys. They take the leftovers in their lunches. This is a must save in my recipe box. It's very easy to make and the directions are easy to follow. My guys like my almost-famous chicken a whole lot better than going to a particular restaurant for it. Thank you Food Network!!

This recipe was very close to the Chick-fil-a original. Tasty. I would definitely make it again. Only change...I'd omit the water and add less milk to the egg mixture. I thought it was a little thin. Great job Food Network Kitchens!

I have made this quite a few times and there was always something missing, after reading the reviews, it is a MUST to soak in pickle juice for at least 30 min. This is as close as you are going to get to the real thing. I love this recipe, especially after the pickle juice thing, if it said to do that, it would be a 5 star without question. Way cheaper that going to chick fil a and keeps my family satisfied. Thank you food network!
