This was the first frozen yogurt recipe I ever made. I'm a big fan of homemade ice cream, but I wanted something with less fat and calories. This recipe was super simple. I had to "tweak" it a bit based on what I had on hand. I doubled the recipe, but I used 32 oz. of whole milk yogurt and 24 oz. of nonfat greek yogurt instead of the half-regular, half-greek combination. Also, I used all the corn syrup I had (4 oz. and increased the sugar to just a bit to make up for it, approximately 1 1/4 cup. (Remember, I doubled the recipe. I was very impressed with the consistency of the yogurt. The flavor was perfect too. It was just what I expected: sweet, tangy, smooth, and creamy. I love it straight from the freezer, but I'm looking forward to eating it with fresh berries or with a reduction of blackberry dessert wine on top. I highly recommend this recipe (or a slight modification to anyone that loves frozen yogurt!

This recipe was delicious! I've never tried Pinkberry frozen yogurt but am a huge fan of Red Mango's frogurt. This recipe is so simple and easy, and the results were very surprising. Just the right amount of sweetness to tang. I made mine with all whole fat plain yogurt (it was the only yogurt in the fridge which was great, but will definitely try the low fat and nonfat variations. My only problem was getting the consistency just right...but then again it could have been my ice cream maker. I was so excited to try this recipe that I used the canister before it was frozen. Anyway, definitely a recipe worth trying!!

This frozen yogurt was so good! The taste was so close to Pink Berry I was really surprised. And, it's so easy to make.

I, too, got hooked on Pinkberry while in LA. I have made this 3 times this week, the first time just like the recipe and it was very good. I wanted to make it lighter, so the 2nd time I used all nonfat plain Dannon yogurt that I drained for 12 hours, and it was unbelievably creamy and definitely as good as with the Greek yogurt. My favorite toppings at Pinkberry are mango, coconut and mochi, and since I couldn't get mochi here in Kansas City, I have come up with a close substitute that fools your mouth into thinking you've got the real thing. Don't cringe if you're a mochi fan...very fresh mini-marshmallows that I cut into thirds with a pair of scissors!! The texture is identical; I bet in a blind-tasting very few people would know it wasn't mochi!

This is so quick and easy, perfect for dinner parties - we put it in the ice cream machine at the end of dinner and serve it straight out of the mixer. I love that it's just yogurt and a tiny bit of sugar!

While visiting my brother in Los Angeles, my boyfriend and I visited the ever so famous and highly talked about from my brother, Pinkberry. We absolutely fell in love. We then came back to Miami and craved everyday. A few Copycat Pinkberry's popped up around town that we immediately tried. Although delicious, we found ourselves spending $15 a week (yes we loved it that much. We then put ourselves on a budget and laid off the yogurt. When my Food Network Magazine came in the mail and I opened up to find this recipe, we were in heaven. The next day we ran out to the store and bought an ice cream maker and all the ingredients. The recipe was so easy to make, took about 2 minutes to stir all together and 25 min in the ice cream maker. As soon as it was done we were definitely in love...this recipe was sooo close, the texture was a bit too creamy like ice cream because we had used the whole milk plain yogurt. We enjoy more of a light icy texture. We've made plenty of batches since and have thus far used the organic brands. We like to use low-fat greek and plain yogurt. We also like it a bit more tart, so we use 1 3/4 cups plain yogurt and 2 1/4 cups greek yogurt. This treat has become a staple in our home. Thank You Food Network for sharing this with us!!!
