Loved the meatballs! I put it with marinara instead of gravy, and they were absolutely delicious!

My boys love the meatballs from IKEA so I had to try this recipe. I followed it excatly and it came out great. They loved it!!!It was very easy to make. The next time time I have to double the recipe.I had no leftovers and my 14 wanted more. I served them with egg noodles

    Very tasty!
I made the meatballs only ahead and froze them. Thawed them and made the gravy fresh.
    They were great.
    Will make them again.

Easy to make, tasty. Sauce was very good. I've never had them at Ikea, now I will have too to see how close they are. Made as directed.

OUTSTANDING and fun to make. I used ground turkey en lieu of meat and the results were fantastic as usual with FN recipes! This recipe is now in my "fave" book. I served with a white wine. I fried the balls in a cast iron, then made the roux, added liquids then replaced the balls in the pan to warm. I will make this again I promise!

Really good! Made these for dinner for friends, they lapped up every drop. Do not over mix your meat or the meatballs will be tough. Vary your combination of ground meats to suit your taste or what's on sale.. I've had great results with different combos of ground lamb, ground turkey, veal, pork and beef. Most Food TV recipes assume kosher salt in the recipes, if you use regular salt you should expect the result to be too salty.

We love Ikea's Meatballs. The nearest store is 1.5 hours away, so we only get to visit 2 or 3 times a year. The Ikea meal is served with meatballs, gravy, mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam. In Sweden the traditional meal is served with meatballs, cream sauce, boiled potatoes, lingonberry jam and fresh pickled cucumbers. So while this is not the "traditional meal" this is an Ikea copycat. That said...this recipe is an easy, quick way to recreate the restaurant meal. I do agree with the reviewer that said the balls had too much salt, 1 tsp is enough. Everything else tastes spot on and my family really enjoyed the recipe. When we do go to Ikea we always buy several jars of the lingonberry jam. If you do not have any you may substitute cranberry jam.

These were amazing! My family ate every last one at one meal and begged for more. Delicious.

Tried this recipe last night (Sunday dinner. My picky family loved it. I doubled the recipe and was happy I did. We will be eating it from time to time. So glad to see there wasn't a cream of something soup used in the gravy.

Not sure what 'real' Swedish meatballs should be, but these are similar to IKEA, and darn tasty. We substituted Dale's seasoning (soy-based marinade, easy to find in the Southeast US for the Worcestershire. Otherwise, we followed the recipe exactly. Caught my picky 3-year-old licking the gravy. I asked her, "do you like the gravy?" She answered, "I like the whole thing!" So did I. So did my wife. We will add this to our 'regulars' file.
