MMMMMM good. Mac salad leans towards bland to start. Did add small amount of pickel relish. Husband likes relish. Really one could add anything to this salad to make your own taste. I loved like it is tho. item not reviewed by moderator and published
Dang, most people are writing about a whole different recipe...I intend to try as is and if it don't work put for me, I'll post a new recipe for the salad...I don't understand people .....I am rating by the sound of how I think it will taste.. item not reviewed by moderator and published
Just made this recipe as printed. Tasted it for seasonings and most certainly thought that less vinegar would be a good idea. AFTER I had tasted it, I added a bit of chopped red pepper for colour and a dash of tabasco, dash of cayenne and cubed up some smoked ham. So I rated this 4 stars based on flavor obviously, but I suggest backing off a bit on the vinegar. Having said that, maybe after it sits for several hours in the fridge, it will mellow more. Another A reviewer here said it was soupy.....I think she/he didn't drain their pasta properly because the consistency was right on. item not reviewed by moderator and published
I followed the directions EXACTLY and it is very good, 5 stars delicious. Now I'm ready to add some chicken to it, heck why not! But, my 5 stars are for the original recipe, can't thank you enough for that. Can't wait till my hungry-honey comes home, he's going to love it! item not reviewed by moderator and published
Delicious. Followed directions exactly. Tastes like what you expect. I added some pickle relish too. Came out nice. item not reviewed by moderator and published
I thought it was a great salad! I added some tuna and had it for a light lunch, very good. item not reviewed by moderator and published
The "dressing" on this is just nasty. Stuck to the recipe, and it ends up tasting only of vinegar. I prefer a simpler type of macaroni salad. item not reviewed by moderator and published
Very yummy! It has been a while since I have had this kind of macaroni salad. Brought me back to the good 'ole days! item not reviewed by moderator and published
This is so good! It makes a huge amount, so I'll be making it for the 4th of July. My mom's is just about like this except she would cut very sharp cheddar cheese into little cubes and add it. Sometimes she would add cubed ham. After the party, it's good the next day too! item not reviewed by moderator and published
Yes we love this too. item not reviewed by moderator and published
