OMG so good. I omitted the tomato and parsley. My mother in law is allergic to onions so I subsituted red pepper instead. I added a little more mayo. Everyone loved it, my husband said this is the macaroni salad for good.

This is THE old fashioned macaroni salad I've been looking for. Made double dressing. Didn't need it all, but needed more than orig. amounts. I also added some finely minced bell pepper and carrot for extra color. This is a keeper as my family (and I devoured it. You won't be disappointed with this recipe.

The recipe was delicious. Everyone went for seconds. I felt like the cider vinegar gave it a slight sour taste, so I added 2T of sweet relish and it was just perfect. My husband said it was an "upscale" macaroni salad.

I added bacon and raisins, it made the salad really pop; not to mention something the kids really enjoyed eating.

Tried this recipe this weekend for company. Everyone went back for seconds and it was even better today for lunch. I did add a bit more mayo (does become drier in the fridge, red pepper, carrots, and cheese crumbles. Will definitely make again.

I have to say, this is truely the best macaroni salad recipe I have ever tried. I made a double batch for a party. My guests finished it off in minutes, and asked if there was more. I left out the parsley and tomatoes, and it still tasted great. Next time, I will try it with the parsley and tomatoes. The recipe takes no time at all to prepare and all the ingredients are regulars in my pantry. I would definitely make this recipe again and again.
