This was very popular at the social I took it too, although I can't say people just raved about it. I made it almost exactly according to the recipe. I used less than the called-for amount of onion because I don't like a strong raw-onion flavor. I also doubled the dressing. I put half of it on as soon as I drained the pasta, while it was still very hot, so the macaroni could absorb the flavor. Then I added all the other ingredients. It chilled overnight, and I added the other half of the dressing right before I was ready to serve it. I also added some chopped boiled eggs.

So glad I found this in time for the 4th - rave reviews! Don't omit the tomatoes, as they add nice color, flavor, and moistness - I even doubled the amount. Don't forget to let the pasta cool completely before adding the dressing (hot pasta will soak it up and the salad will end up dry. Awesome.

This macaroni salad was a hit at our annual 4th of July party. I used shallots, added bacon & hard boiled eggs and it was absolutely delish!!!

This pasta was a complete hit at my 4th of July dinner : Everyone kept saying how much they loved it and when we pulled the food out of the fridge later for a snack, the pasta was the first thing asked for. I omitted the celery because I didn't have any. The only tip I'd have is wait til like an hour before to put the sauce on because all of my sauce soaked into the noodles and we didn't get the full effect. But otherwise, Its the bomb!

Simple, fresh, and very clean tasting. I made it for a "Salad Medley" menu on the Fourth of July, along with my own creation potato salad and the Chicken Salad Sliders here on the network site. Huge, huge hit with my guests!

Delicious!! I made American food for my friends in Spain. I had to substitute greek yogurt for the sour cream because sour cream is imposible to find here. I couldn't find dry mustard either so I used dijon mustard. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly.

Basically good. I added 2 T olive oil to dressing to make it little 'slicker', doesn't dry out as much. Cut back on onion, always taste the onion first, some are stronger than others. Easy to turn into main course by adding tuna or flaked salmon.

This macaroni recipe is great. I made it by the recipe but after it chills you need to add more mayo it gets very dry. But other then that, this is the best macaroni salad I have ever had.

Excellent!!! Aside from celery, I added diced carrots for more crunch. I also deseeded and diced the tomato. Yummy!

Really good recipe! The only problem I had was a really potent red onion so it was a little strong. Other than that, the recipes was delish!
