    I love the creaminess of the avocado and slight sweetness from the apple juice. After reading other reviews I chose to remove the skin from the apples before making it. The only additional change I would make is just using less mint, because I found it overpowering

    You could also put in place of the apple juice, some cream or any milk substitute of your choice along with some greated nutmeg,some honey or sugar and no aplles or take off the skin off of the apples!!!

    I made this recipe exactly as written and did not like it (took a few sips and tossed the rest. The avocado leant a nice creaminess to it, but I think the skin-on apple made the texture a bit grainy/unpleasant. If I had to make it again, I'd probably use less apple (and peel it first and maybe increase the apple juice and maybe add some honey for added sweetness.

    I'd rather make some killer guacamole with my avocados than this smoothie ;

    I had bought a lot of avocados and was not too sure of what all I could do. This one is not my favorite and I will probably not make this again.

    A great tart and minty flavour and a great creamy texture using all natural ingredients. Healthy and delicious.

    Easy to make and tastes pretty good.

    I didn't have the mint leaves, but I think they would have given the smoothie a better flavor. It was a little too "blah" without the mint.

    I also added honey to make sure that the smoothie wasn't *too* healthy for me.

    I guess you could say, it is not what I expected. I guess with the combination of the apple and juice it is not sweet enough. I found it ok, I would not serve it for a guest.
