Great receipt, didn't have any low sodium soya sauce so just added less of the regular kind and it worked perfectly. One thing though don't over reduce the sauce or it becomes too syruoy and its hard to coat the chicken.
Really does take the hour but well worth it!

Delicious! I didn't mind that the sauce wasn't particularly thick. It made them a little easier to eat, actually. I added more honey for a teeny bit more thickness, and more chili flakes to counteract the sweetness- they were perfect. I actually forgot to put the butter in at the end, and they were still awesome.

The sauce did not thicken, but it had a good flavor, really frustrating. So, I am looking into how to make a thick glaze, because the flavor was right on!

This is one of my go-to recipes. I've never been a fan of drumsticks but this is a fave in our house. I've found that the sauce won't thicken unless it's in a big skillet and even then it's not super thick. I don't mind that since I think the chicken has enough flavour as is. I usually add a bit more red pepper flakes for more heat though.

The chicken is absolutely delicious. HOWEVER, it created a terrible mess in my oven with the high heat. My house was then smokey and had a lingering smell of chicken. Thank goodness for self cleaning ovens. Unfortunately, I wouldn't make this recipe again because of the mess. Maybe there's an alternative way to cook the chicken, but I'd hate to lose the crispiness that the high heat created.

Very good; sauce really did not thicken as I would have liked. I made this for one of my clients, but for me and hubby I'd use thighs.

Family loved this. However, I did not have apple juice and used two apples in the food processor. It gave the sauce texture. I also used splenda brown sugar. My husband and tween really loved it! Big Hit!!!
