OK, but not as good as I had hoped. The mushroom mixture was bland and the sauce tasted "off" to me. I added garlic to the burger and doubled the panko, but it still seemed to be missing a punch and the texture wasn't good. Might try again with different flavoring, turkey instead of chicken and I like the slaw idea for a topping.

I followed the recipe as is. This was a simple and quick meal that was just good enough, nothing spectacular. I am a huge fan of Asian style food, but this dish did not impress me. It's an okay burger, but I would not make it again.

Excellent recipe. Made this for a quick family meal and it was loved by all but one, who thought it was too spicy. Couldn't find ground chicken at our lame supermarket so we used ground turkey. Great aroma, great taste and easy to make. Will add something with crunch next time, maybe pickles as a garnish. Cooking for 25 minutes as suggested in another review worked perfectly. We will double the Panko as someone else suggested next time too.

made this for my friends for our weekly playdate. everyone loved it. i put it over a bed of lettuce and did not do the slaw on top (was not a fan the first time i made the slaw sooo easy and tasty! i suggest cooking it longer 25-28 minutes, ck is not completely cooked at only 20 minutes... i also made the corn salsa from this months magazine and of course the shark attack beverage!!! we dont fool around at our playdates.. the drink was DELISH, corn slasa just okay!

Loved these! I added 2 cloves of garlic to the burger mix and doubled the panko since the burger mix was too wet to form into patties initially. I don't like super-spicy food, so only used 1 tsp of sambal in the sauce. They were delicious! I might add cilantro to the burger mix next time.

This simply delicious. This is the second time I have prepared this burger and used ground turkey instead of chicken. I love the different layers of flavor...this is a keeper.

DELICIOUS!! Ok, so here's the scoop...I doubled everything, EXCEPT the Hoisin (not a big fan, added an egg white, cilantro and garlic. Now as for the topping, I did not use mushrooms (again, not a fan, I used thinly sliced red cabbage for crunch and color w/ red onion and no Hoisin...AND as if that wasnt enough, I made a mayo spread (1C, w/ 1 garlic clove, and 1 Tblsp lime or lemon juice and slathered one side of bun with it...OMGOSH!! SO, SO YUMMY!!

This is a unique and tasty combination of flavors. I really enjoyed them. Made mine into oval patties and ate them without a bun. As others suggested, I added a clove of minced garlic to the chicken mixture. I can't get over how simple and delicious the sauce is. Thanks Food Network for another keeper recipe.
