We liked this....a lot although my husband is not a ginger fan and he thought there was too much. I, however, love ginger and thought it was just the right amount. I added a couple dashes of red pepper because we like some spice. I will be making this again and again.

This was really simple to make, and my husband and toddler both loved it. We prefer our food spicy, so I added extra ginger and several turns of cracked black pepper to bring out the flavor. For an extra spice boost, I added siracha to my own bowl.

This was delish! I like spicy so I added l tsp. of Asian Sambal Olelek to the chicken marinade. Believe it or not, I omitted all the salt and the taste was still great. I think the soy sauce gives it enough flavor. Any one who thinks this is bland, did something wrong.

This recipe needs a base sauce (such as hoison or black bean for flavor. The dish is overwhelmed by the fresh ginger matchsticks(1 in. minced would work better. The chicken stock cornstarch creates a tasteless gravy. Also be adding the 1/4 cup water before the asparagus basically "steams" them instead of stir-frying. I prefer crispy asparagus and would not use water.

i thought this recipe was wonderful. be sure to use FRESH ginger. it makes all the difference. i substituted out half of the asparagus and added in two cups of broccoli florets and a handful of shredded carrot for color. worked beautifully. try using arrowroot in place of the corn starch to up the nutrition factor of this meal.

I cooked this tonight and followed the recipe exactly, except I didn't have fresh ginger. I had to improvise with ground ginger, but even with a significant amount of ground ginger, it tasted pretty bland. The sauce kind of tasted like Thanksgiving gravy. In the end, I added crushed pepper and some Chinese black bean paste (about 1 tsp. and it made it pretty good. We enjoyed it except the asparagus was a little overcooked because of the added ingredients. I would go with this recipe again granted I add the black bean paste and crushed pepper.

This receipe was good, it just needs a little extra flavor.
I followed the recipe, but the next time I made it I'll jazz it up

This was a great/easy weeknight meal for us. Even added 1/2 a bag of frozen stir fry veg as well and it turned it good. Will do again.
