This dish is delicious!!!! It's creative and a good pairing of three things that I love, bacon, eggs and bread. As strange as that may sound.....

This soup is WONDERFUL! I don't use any salt, if you do it's extremely salty, and I thicken the broth at the end with some corn starch. I also use left over dinner roll for the bread and it's simply amazing

The soup was Delicious! Great to just throw together quickly and eat... just like breakfast but with a Gourmet twist. I must say I used Onion Bagels for the Croutons (All I had and It was Great! I also added Escarole and Green onions because we love greens! But I would say you probably could add other veggies you love in you eggs as well like mushrooms and peppers... Going to try that next time! Thanks for the great soup! :

I was expecting this to be good, but it was even better than anything I had expected! I would definitely not use any salt for seasoning the next time I do this because the bacon and the cheese bring enough salt to the table, you really don't need to add more. This was soooo goood!!!!

Didn't sound good, but was excellent! The bread made it quite nice as well as the eggs.

This tasted so much better than I thought it would!
This is a very hearty and filling soup. I split the recipe in half and it was enough to fill my boyfriend and I up for dinner. We were hungry a couple of hours later though.
Do not add any salt when seasoning and you may want to use low sodium stock as the end result with the bacon and the cheese is very, very salty.
I will definitely make this again but with reduced sodium.

This soup was easy to make, very unique, and very hearty but I used lower sodium chicken broth and lower sodium bacon and it was still very salty. If you make the recipe as Food Network suggests it?s 1374 mg of sodium per serving. Using lower sodium broth and bacon will get it below 1000 mg of sodium per serving. Our seven and thirteen year olds loved it too.

I had been yearning for this soup ever since the Nov 09 issue came out. Made it last night for the family and it is sublime!

This soup is amazing. It's easy, it's fairly healthy, and it has such a complexity. A different flavor palate in every bite. Fabulous.

This soup has a ton of flavor for one that is so quick to make.
