These were incredibly good! Only suggestion is to make about 10 slices of bacon cause family keeps stealing mine!!!! Otherwise, I made it exactly to directions and it was marvelous!

I am making this for our holiday dinner. There will be around 20 people or so. How should I adjust the recipe for this? Has anyone had to?

Has anyone made this a day ahead? Do the beans stay crisp?

Really easy and quick to make. Fills your home with that "down-home" bacon aroma! It takes me back home! No changes to recipe, followed to the "T". Beans were crisp-tender! Not soggy at all. You'll love this one for Thanksgiving.

Theresa a Dutch Oven is just a heavy cast iron pot. If you don't have one, just use a large pot that preferably has a heavy bottom.

Please make this recipe for every Holiday dinner and anytime you're trying to impress!! This was the easiest, most delicious green beans I've ever made. Awesome!! All I can say is that you must try!!

The beans were so yummy. I will probably drained the bacon grease after cooking them and before adding the green beans the next time I cook these, but only if it doesn't take away from the flavor.
