Very good. I modified this slightly. I did half corn flakes and half rice cereal, and used tilapia. Delicious, and rave reviews from the family, too. Served with couscous and green beans for an even healthier overall meal.

I love this recipe! I do season my fish with garlic powder, sea salt and pepper before I coat it in the egg whites. I also use swai because it is one of my boyfriends favorite fish, it's in the catfish family so it is ideal for frying but frying is not ideal for my waistline so this recipe is perfect! This is one of my go to recipes for weeknight dinners.

I read the negatives of these reviews which said this was bland. So, I used crushed bran flakes instead and added a tiny bit more salt. The coating was yummy, but the egg mixture was not conducive to the flakes sticking. So, the coating fell off and what was left was bland fish. The fries weren't too terrible though. I don't think I'll be using this recipe again, but it was worth a try.

I used Cod for this recipe and it easily fed 4 people. They have the timing spot on, everything cooked beautifully. I will definitely do this again, it was very easy and the cayenne pepper on the fries was delicious! A new family fav!

Wow! Good recipe. Good alternative to frying or grilling if you are tired of that. Definately crumble the rice krispies finer, used sea salt, and plenty of cooking spray so it would brown up. Also cooked a few minutes more. That recipe was a keeper not throwing it back. Hahaha!

Nice and easy recipe! Tasty and a better alternative to pan fried! I had to do some mods due to what was in the cupboard. Panko bread crumbs and crushed oyster crackers for the breading (worked well. Frozen shoe string french fries too. 2 talapia filets and 2 swai filets! Also added some asiago cheese to the breading! My wife and son both liked it.... me too!

Even my picky eater went back for seconds! FYI any of the breading that is touching the pan will be soggy and will stay on the pan. It had excellent taste. I would suggest - if also making for kids. Keep 1/2 of the fries without the cayenne powder.

The fries turned out great and the fish was moist and cooked perfectly. My only complaint is the trouble the rice crispies had sticking to the fish and the blandness of the crust. Next time I would just crush the crispies more finely than the recipe suggests and add a bit more pepper or other seasoning. Great dish overall though.

I was pleased with this recipe. It was very easy and even my kids liked it! I only had a broiler pan, so I used that. The fish was nicely browned on the bottom, so I put it under the broiler for 90 seconds to even it up a little. It was nice and crisp and didn't stink up my house the way frying fish does! Yay! I served with twice baked potatoes instead, so while the potatoes were cooking I let the fish sit with some lime pepper and Mrs. Dash to give it some flavor because others said it was bland. I will definately make this again.
