They were bland, BUT they were easy to make & do look just like the picture! I will also be tweeking the recipe in the future

I guess I was expecting too much from this recipe but these taste nothing like hushpuppies. This is just plain cornbread and doesn't have hardly any flavor.

I first made these for a party that my brother was going to. They were a huge hit, even if they didn't have enough. Now I make them on a regular basis. They are quick, easy and yummy!
In reply to the "Aren't these mini corn muffins?" review, in a sense they are. But aren't hushpuppies just fried corn muffins? Try them. I think you might enjoy this recipe.

Have been looking for hush puppies to bake as apposed to frying. This is a perfect recipe. Very easy to make. Husband loves them!! It's a keeper!!
