I made these for a cocktail party and they were excellent! Make sure to only add the balsamic vinegar right before you're just about ready to serve them. The vinegar breaks down the strawberry, so if not served within 60-90 minutes the strawberry will start to get mushy.

Incredibly good - already made this twice, once as a dessert and the other time just with some white wine on the patio. Definitely wouldn't cut out the sprinkling of salt as a previous review talked about. This will def be a staple.

It is easy and delicious. This particular recipe has become my upmost requested desert when attending parties, or catering an event.
Thank you,
Wee Cook.

These taste like a fabulous strawberry cupcake. The marscapone mixture is sooo good! The only thing I would do different, is not put the salt on the bread, before toasting. I know it is meant to cut the sugar, but....still won't do it next time.
