This banana bread is soooo good! I baked a loaf for my Mom and my husband was so upset he wasn't aloud to eat it! Bananas go right in the freezer when they get too ripe and they're ready to use whenever I want them for this bread! Banana bread is a big thing in Maui (where we went for our honeymoon so it's nice to bring the memory home-I think this recipe might even be better than it was there! Enjoy!

I actually found this recipe a while back on your website and use it all the time - including making it for a potluck yesterday! It always comes out moist and yummy - and I never have leftovers! :-

Great recipe!!! Enjoyed baking it, however the tasting was the best and funniest part. I accidentally used corn meal instead of flour and didn't find out until my girlfriend tasted it. She takes a bite and looks at me and says "It's good but it tastes like Tamales", so then I taste it and yes she was right I used corn meal. It was hilarious to her she could not stop laughing. :
And of course I had to bake another one (with flour this time to get the true taste.

Turned out really good. I used almonds instead of walnuts and 3/4 c of splenda instead of sugar. I typically use the bisquick banana bread recipe, but I was out of bisquick, so I tried this one instead. While this is certainly a great recipe, I think I'll keep using my bisquick recipe in the future, because it's simpler and it's the banana bread I grew up with, so the flavor is very nostalgic for me.

My hand mixer died so I used my hand blender to cream the butter & sugar and the bread was still divine. Used macadamias instead of walnuts but otherwise followed recipe. IMO, you Could get away with less sugar if you wanted.

I'm an experimenter in the kitchen. So I had lots ripe bananas got this wonderful recipe on the net. I had all needed ingredients in the house already, so I just I follow the steps and made this wonderful Banana-Cranberry bread, but I substituted the nuts for dried cranberries. I share the loaf with some friends and they love itl. Now they want me to make it for them for their special events. My first Banana-Cranberry Bread. Yum!!!! I so proud! that I made it. Thank U..
