I had turkey in the freezer so I used that instead of beef.
I also used more noodles. We all liked it at lot, leftovers were still tasty.
I did not think it was dry at all or bland.Just taste your sauce and ajust My youngest did not like the peppers. Then again she is the picku one.It went really fast too. Will make this again for sure.

I love this casserole! It wasn't dry for me at all, but like other reviewers, I added a can of Rotel tomatoes, along with diced tomatoes.

I photo looked great so I made this. I thought it was dry. Needed more tomato or something. Also a little bland. Not bad, but I won't be making it again.

I made this last week, after seeing the recipe on line. It was easy to make, had a good flavor and was an excellent choice for a cold night here in the midwest. Tasted good as leftovers the next day.

Hubby said if I take out the red peppers (he doesn't like different textures in his food- really? that this would be a rockin' dish. So- next time- no peppers, no tomatoes, and replace with marinara sauce.

Made this casserole for dinner last night, and both my wife and I enjoyed it. I thought it was a little on the dry side, so I added a little milk to the noodle mixture, maybe about 1/3 cup. I also added about 1 tsp. minced garlic to the meat mixture. This is a great recipe, easy to create, and tummy warming. It would make a great potluck dish!

I made this last week when we were having some cold and rainy weather. Very stick-to-the-ribs dish, great with a salad and garlic bread. The leftovers were even better!

This was a very tasty recipe. I will definitely serve it again. I would even serve it to company.....family company that is. It does take more than 5 minutes to prepare, however. I think it takes about 15 minutes to prepare. Then I baked it at 375 degrees for 20minutes.
