Was a big hit for a St. Pat's appetizer. Served with sour cream/chive dip as well as homemade ranch. If have fresh parsley use .. made one batch w/fresh and another with dried (ran out of fresh for second batch and the fresh definitely was much more flavorful. Yum!

Made this for a St Patty's Day party, I fried an assortment of green vegetables (broccoli, green beans, asparagus, and zucchini slices for my party platter. Served it with "green" Ranch dressing for the dip. Delicious and playful appetizer!!!

Just made this for lunch - very good . I asked my 16 yr. old son whether to rate it good or excellent and he quickly said "excellent". Very quick and easy. I used ale and omitted the parsley(did not have any fresh on hand, used whole wheat flour, and substituted ranch dressing for the sour cream for my son (no sour cream on hand, used no topping for myself, and it still tasted good. We eat a lot of green vegetables so it is good to have a fun, quick recipe that is satisfying!
