Loved, loved, loved this! The family thought it was wonderful. I saw where several people said they had to thicken theirs up... don't know what I did different, but had to thin mine down some. I used more potatoes than called for and chicken broth (a whole can rather than water, used fresh pearl onions and sauteed them in the oils while frying the chicken, and didn't find fresh thyme so used 1/2 tsp. of dried. Turned out fantastic. Definite menu item for the future.

I made this after looking at the picture on another website, and clinking on the link. Excellent and very easy to make. I will make this chicken dish again.

Made some minor modifications using what I had on hand. Bone in chicken thighs, mildly sauteed onions, dried thyme and Dijon mustard. Was absolutely fabulous! The flavor was rich but not overpowering. We used smitwhicks beer and it was the perfect beer for this dish. Anything darker would be overwhelming I think.

very good! I added a few smashed garlic cloves and used chicken stock instead of water. The sauce was a little loose so I removed the chicken and thickened it a bit- Yummy!

Awesome. I didn't have any bacon, but I do keep bacon drippings on hand and used it to cook the chicken in. I didn't add the mustard or sugar...and it came out fantastic. My kids LOVED this and my husband said it was gourmet! I will be making this again.

Made this last night, even though it was good, I felt like it was missing something. But as it sat it became better. If I try this recipe again, I may cut the chicken up smaller.

This was a hit with the whole family! I read a couple of the reviews before and decided to go with just one tablespoon of mustard and left out the brown sugar, as suggested in the comments. I used Guiness Draught beer and added baby carrots also. The flavor was amazing! Quick and easy weeknight meal! I will be making this again soon.
