Tried and true...Instead of just using light brown sugar go half and half with light and dark brown sugar, this really does make the taste extra yummy... (3/4c each Your vanilla extract also should NOT be imitation...it makes a huge difference when it's pure vanilla extract. Our family and friends like the special dark morsels and walnuts as the add ins....sometimes they even ask for a bit of coconut!

I ended up twice baking mine because they were just TOO gooey. I'd suggesting doubling the baking time- I've seen other recipes that suggest 40-45 minutes and that would be better, I think. Made mine with semi-sweet chips, butterscotch chips, and pecans. YUM!

We all know that a good cook has a great imagination, so use it! Add some peanut butter and tweak it some to your liking. This recipie is awesome and will get you on the right track-FUN

I love this recipe and have made it numerous times. My husband even prefers it over his mom's classic version. I use a combination of white chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.

I made these for my daughter's school without reading the reviews. This is such an easy recipe that my 4 yr old daughter did most of it. I used a butter pecan blend of chips and nuts and also used dark brown sugar instead of light. They look delicious and I had to taste because of all of the bad reviews. They are a little too sweet but not bland like some have said. If I make them again I will cut back to 1c. sugar. They are a nice consistency...not cake like but not too gooey either.

My daughter and I made these together. They're really easy, but they were super sweet. Love the texture, but the white chocolate on top of the sugar was a bit too much.

This is a decent recipe if you want something basic and very easy. I don't like the cake-like texture of the finished product so I use two yolks and one egg white. The best combination I have used is add: 1 TSP cinnamon, chopped hazelnuts or almonds, 1 CUP white chocolate chips. Yum!

I added Walnuts and Coconut to them after reading some of the other comments and cut back on the Chocolate Chips. They came out of the oven a little mushy so I may leave the next batch in for 3-5 minutes longer. They came out really good though...1/2 the pan is gone already!

So blah, tasted like corn bread. Nothing I did to them made them taste better. Don't waste your time and ingredients!!!
