I agree with the other reviewers who said this recipe is bland and boring, and I even used a delicious muscovado sugar and added toffee bits along with the chocolate chips. I made two batches and ended up adding extra toffee to the second batch--that definitely improved the flavor, but they're still not that great. I can't imagine how bland and yucky these would be with plain brown sugar and no toffee.

I never had a blonde until I made these. They're good, but I thought adding something like white chocolate chips, nuts, whatever made them a bit better.

The flavor just wasn't there. The batter was too thick. But upone thinning it out it ended up being tasteless. I wasn't very impressed with this recipe :(

This is a quick dessert that is always a hit every time I make it. It is easy to change up by changing the morsals you put in the recipe

Not inedible, but not the rich, chewy and sweet taste I was looking for. Boring, basic and blah.

After trying this recipe one time, I was hooked. I have made these blondies so many times, I should be an expert. This is a great recipe to try, and you can add anything you want, but I like mine plain, with nothing added and a little gooey.....boy are they delicious!

I found the result was a little blah. I used toffe chips one time and chocolate chips another time. Both times I wished I made toll house cookies.
