Made this the other day and my kids loved them. They're pretty good. I did like the idea of frying the dogs in bacon fat. I gave it 4 stars only because it's not something you can make all the time.

Just made these for the 4th of July...... HOLY SMOKES! they were delicious. Attempted to cut some of the fat by making the hot dogs AND the bacon on the grill(I have a TRU INFARED grill so you can make perfect bacon on it without the flare-ups. Used Hebrew National all beef Hot dogs, This recipe was a hit. Super delicious. It was like eating a BLT with fried baloney on it. Everyone loved it from 87 year old grandma to my 16 month old daughter. Definitely a good cook out recipe. I say.. Try it!
