I used half blueberries and half raspberries with the nectarines. I put half the sugar in the fruit. I used brown sugar instead of white in the topping and also threw in some chopped walnuts, half teapson of vanilla and dash of cinnamon. Next time I'm going to put a little lemon zest in with fruit. You can make little changes and use what you have and it's still great. SOOOO GOOD!

I'm a pretty good cook, however baking is not my forte. So I was nervous in making this for my husband one summer sunday. I used nectarines, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries, as we love the taste of the combined fruits. Lo and behold, despite my inability to bake so much as a pillsbury ready bake cookie, this cobbler came out amazing! Will definitley do it again, andd will play w/theingredients once I am more comfortable with the whole baking thing. Awesome with vanilla bean ice cream!

This will now replace the cobbler recipe I have used for years. I liked the handling of this dough better, and it completely covered the fruit. I used 6 peaches in place of the nectarines, otherwise folllowed the recipe pretty much as written. I mixed the dough in the food processor with the dough blade but did have to work it by hand a bit at the end to get even blending. It did not spill over in the oven, but I did have to pull it out at about 50 minutes, the top was well browned and done (used a Pyrex 2-qt cassrole. Result was to die for! The crust is not very sweet but is a good balance with all the sugar in the fruit.

This was loved by everyone, mostly because of a dark, brown, crunchy crust. At 40 min. I thought it smelled like it was finished cooking and it was. Make sure to check your cobbler while it's baking to make sure it doesn't burn. Keep your eye on it.

We really enjoyed this dessert! It was the perfect balance of sweet with the fruit and salty with the crust. I did add a few drops of vanilla to the crust. I served it with fresh whipped cream as I didn't have any ice cream, still very yummy!

Made this for a 4th of July picnic and it was a hit! I substituted Splenda for sugar and used half the amount the recipe called for because the nectarines were very sweet. It turned out perfectly! Delicious.

You want to try this!!! Super simple and such fabulous flavor. The cobbler topping is delicious, I think that I may use this dough instead of what my other cobbler recipes call for. You won't be disappointed!

Definitely use half the sugar. Also, I didn't have any cream so used soy milk. Came out great! will use this recipe again.

The combination of the berries and nectarines is delicious. Mine bubbled over horribly though. I will place it on a baking sheet next time for sure. In addition, I think I'll reduce the sugar in the fruit and maybe add some brown sugar and nuts to the cobbler.

Mine was done in less than 45 minutes.
