This pie was worth the effort. It was delicious, flaky and just the right consistency. Making a sauce with the berries and then adding the fresh berries makes all the dlfference in the world.

This pie is very, very, good. The filling was perfect. It was not too runny and it was not too thick. It has a a wonderful blueberry flavor. The maple syrup does not over power the flavor of the blueberries. This pie is so easy to make. This recipe is a keeper!! The whole family loves this pie :

Awesome recipe. Made it for a party and everyone freaked out over how yummy it was. Not runny, given the tapioca and maple syrup. This is for sure my go to blueberry pie recipe. Oh... and I am gluten-free. Poured the filling in a ready made g-free crust from Whole Foods and no one knew it was g-free. How great is this? Give me some credit... I picked the bluenerries myself and froze them for a fall fruit pie moment.

i tried making it twice, and all you get is a sloppy, blueberry mess. not only does half the blueberry filling come out all over, but it does NOT "set up". so after all that work, you end up with a tasty crust, and blueberry syrup for over your pancakes.

At first I thought this might be too maple-y, but it's really not. The flavors really blend together well. This is one I'll make over and over!
