This was delicious! The pockets were gone FAST! My brothers loved them. I would make more of the mixture to make the pockets bigger next time. I used extra sharp cheddar cheese, and it was yummy.

This is a great go-to recipe for our house. I'll make a batch of these on the weekend and we have them for lunches throughout the week - YUM!

I followed the recipe exactly as written. I did not find these pockets to be bland tasting nor did they need more salt. The chives lent a lot of flavor and definitely should not be omitted. My son who never eats green vegetables ate these right up. My husband said he could eat them every day. I was surprised at how delicious these pockets actually were.

Very good for how simple it was. Quick recipe; added chicken, garlic, and it needed a lot of salt.

I would of gave it 5 stars, but due to the fact that the broccoli was a bit bland and it should call for 2 tubes of french bread dough because 1 can only made 4 pockets for me. But other then that i will be making this meal again, it was a big hit with my kids. Also i did as an other reviewer suggested and added seasoned chicken wich i think made it more of a complete meal.

These were SO good!! I would also recommend lowering either the temp or the cooking time, but SO good!

Much better than the ones purchased at the store. Followed the recipe exactly. Would recommend either reducing the temp of the oven or checking at 10 minutes. Mine came out a little too brown. Also would recommend that you pay special attention to sealing the seam. Two of my pockets "leaked" their filling.

Well, after making these for dinner someone requested that Monday night always be pocket night. They tasted so much better than the frozen kind you buy at the store, and they were quick and easy.
I made a few modifications: Instead of french bread dough, I used crescent dough (you will need two 8oz tubes. I also chopped up a few slices of ham lunchmeat to add to some of the pockets (equally good with or without ham and used green onion (I didn't have chives on hand.
