Made this last night b/c I'm trying to eat more fish and was looking for new recipes. The flavor and textures were interesting. I read the reviews and was mindful of blandness so I adjusted seasonings accordingly and threw in garlic (i love garlic into the pea puree. The pea puree came out sweet, naturally from the peas. But I wasn't loving the combination with the fish or vegetables. It was a novel dish and my husband liked it but I don't expect to make it again. The pea puree might be good as a hummus substitute though.

Made this last night and it was super simple and will definitely be making this again. I also made some changes in this recipe according to taste. Got Seabass instead of Halibut....added cayenne and parprika, which gave it a very nice kick and actually gave it kind of a crisp top to the fish. Made the pea puree with vegetable broth and added some salt and garlic powder to the recipe. The fish was flaky, meaty, and absolutely delicious. I'm even making the pea puree again tonight but adding it to pasta!

I should preface this by saying I made several changes to this recipe, due to availability of ingredients and personal taste. I used tilapia instead of halibut, as my local fish shop did not have any halibut (I don't think it's actually in season right now. I added some zucchini to the vegetables, and next time I think I will leave out the carrots and add some red bell peppers, because we're not huge fans of carrots. For the pea puree, I left out the butter and cut back on the ricotta, but added a small avocado to bump up the creamy texture. Since several people had commented on the pea puree being bland, I added some garlic and some sambal for a little flavor and spice. After all the changes, it was still really easy and quick, and turned out very tasty. I think I would like it even better with halibut if I could actually find some. The smoky flavor of the paprika on the fish combined surprisingly well with the sweet creamy flavor of the puree.

Super simple and although I liked it, my husband wasn't "wowed" by it. I think the pea puree wasn't a big hit with him. But after reading the review below, I will modify it next time, Going to try it again though!

Terrific, healthy dish! We used haddock (halibut was $18.99/#. To the puree, added a touch of garlic powder and green curry paste (very little bit just at the tip of a spoon.

This was amazing! So easy, so delicious, and so healthy. I also added more paprika to the halibut and since I was only serving two, I used less peas, but the same amount of ricotta. The puree was surprisingly my favorite, sweet and savory and very creamy. Perfect combo with the fish. The carrots and onions were perfectly cooked. Definitely plan to make again over and over!

Loved it! Such a great presentation with all the colors. This would make a great presentation for a dinner party. I used Flounder (could not fine Halibut, what is up with that, I have had that problem a lot lately and it worked nicely. Broiling is easy. Prep was easy and clean up a breeze. Thanks again foodnetwork.

The fish is simple to prepare and make. It was delicious & I will use this recipe again. I didn't try the pea puree only because I bought cottage cheese by accident instead of ricotta. I will try though but it sounds delicious and the colors in the photo seem to jump off the screen. More colors = healthy.

This dinner was fast and easy to prepare. I agree with another reviewer that the halibut perhaps could have used more smoked paprika and the peas a little more salt. But it looked beautiful and tasted light and pretty good. I really liked the red onions. Because of the way my oven broils the items in the center of the sheet received more heat. So some of the veg had more of a char (used broccoli instead of carrots and some had a more roasted/caramelized quality - both tasted good to me. Great for the summer!

I did not make the fish because I was only interested in trying the pea puree. Unfortunately, I was not impressed. I found the pea puree to be too liquidy and lacking flavor.
If I choose to make it again I will be tweaking the recipe, or perhaps try another pea puree recipe.
Sorry Food Network, I love ya but not this recipe for a pea puree.
